7.Melde Made Office Work and connected-store information

Melde Made uses Office Work as a private application to manage business records and coordinate inventory across its connected stores. This section explains how its store inventory integration handles information.

Information processed

When a store connection is authorized, Office Work processes store identifiers, product and variant information, stock quantities and sale notifications. It stores information needed to operate and verify syncing, including approved product matches, notification identifiers and timestamps, inventory updates, verification results and error records.

Connection credentials, authorization tokens and notification signing secrets are stored encrypted on the server. The notification processor does not retain complete notification bodies or customer details from those notifications in its application database. The inventory integration does not collect payment-card numbers.

Purpose and service providers

We use this information to recognize sales, retrieve current inventory, update approved stock matches, prevent duplicate processing and investigate discrepancies. This integration does not sell connected-store information or use it for advertising.

Information is processed through the connected Etsy and Squarespace services and the hosting infrastructure used by Office Work, including OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Where enabled, private business-record backups are also stored in Melde Made’s authorized Google Drive account. Those backups exclude connection credentials, authorization tokens and signing secrets.

Access, retention and choices

Office Work’s business records are restricted to authorized users. Its publicly reachable notification receiver accepts incoming store notifications; it does not provide public access to the business dashboard or records.

Operational records and logs are retained for inventory reconciliation, troubleshooting and business recordkeeping. Pausing a connection or revoking authorization does not automatically erase previously saved records or backup copies.

To ask about information held by Office Work, request a correction or deletion, or obtain help withdrawing a store connection, contact Noah@meldemade.com.

Office Work Financial Information and QuickBooks Online

Effective October 16, 2026

This section supplements our Privacy Policy and explains how Melde Made Office Work handles financial information for Melde Made’s internal business operations.

Information processed

When an authorized administrator connects QuickBooks Online, Office Work processes company identifiers and selected posted purchases, bills, bill payments, and vendor credits. These records may include vendor names, account references, dates, amounts, descriptions, and transaction line details.

Office Work also stores information entered by authorized users, including cost classifications, project and production-batch assignments, receipt photographs, and notes. Separately authorized Etsy and Squarespace financial connections process available order, payment, fee, and refund records.

Purpose and permissions

We use this information for expense review, receipt matching, project costing, business-area reporting, and reconciliation. We do not sell this connected financial information or use it for advertising.

The current QuickBooks importer reads financial information; it does not change QuickBooks bookkeeping or initiate payments. Intuit’s Accounting permission can authorize broader operations than Office Work currently performs. The connection does not request or store your QuickBooks password or bank-login credentials.

Storage and service providers

Office Work is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Authorized service providers process information as needed to operate the application and its connections.

Where enabled, business-record backups are also stored in Melde Made’s authorized Google Drive account. Backups exclude connection credentials, authorization tokens, and notification signing secrets.

Business records are restricted to authorized users. Connections use HTTPS, and saved connection credentials and tokens are encrypted on the server. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and your choices

Business records are retained for their operational purpose and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Disconnecting a service does not automatically erase previously imported records or backup copies.

An authorized administrator can revoke QuickBooks access through QuickBooks Online. Contact us to request information about retained records, corrections, deletion, or assistance withdrawing access. We will address requests subject to applicable law and required recordkeeping, including reviewing relevant backup copies.
